Error Debian: Perl warning Setting locale failed.

Es un error bastante común que al instalar aplicaciones en Debian o Ubuntu, nos lance el siguiente error:

Perl warning Setting locale failed

Eso se debe a que las configuraciones regionales no están completamente configuradas, y por tanto nos aparece un mensaje similar a este que expongo a continuación:

Como observamos en los ejemplos necesitamos regenerar las locales.

 

Generamos las locales

Supongamos que nos falla el idioma ES (Español-Castellano).

Generamos:

Una vez tenemos el idioma generado, creamos la configuración de locales para evitar el error Perl warning Setting locale failed.

Realizamos lo siguiente… uno por uno.

Ahora ejecutamos la pantalla gráfica de configuración.

Nos aparecerá una pantalla en la cual podrás reconfigurar correctamente tu lenguaje (para seleccionar debes pulsar la tecla espacio).
